Nursing is more than a profession of integrity and compassion, it is a privilege that measures out my values as a human being and the responsibilities granted to me with the precious gift of life. The first time I truly touched a person's life, although the encounter was brief, was surprisingly fulfilling. A strong feeling of accomplishment and self-worth spread rapidly throughout my body and soul that no average "good deed" has ever accomplished.

Nursing exceeds that average deed by far. After each experience, I'm left with an awestruck attitude of purpose, knowing that I am needed in someone's life. By saying, "I'm going to be a nurse" each morning, I get the motivation needed to survive the awaited day ahead of me with a smile The person, who fights cancer, is strong morally.

He or she is trying to be positive no matter how hard the path, and help not only themselves to fight, but also others who support them. These people probably ones who now how high the cost of life and how easy to lose it. And supporting them is a great choice when you want your occupation to be connected with such an important thing. It was the story of two different men who had a fatal form of cancer. They created the list of things they wanted to do before they die, and followed it. This film shows how the view of a person changes when he or she hears the diagnosis, and how the will to life can modify the disease flow.

Of course, the end of the story was unexpected, and one of the main heroes died, but the second got a chance for a new life. I think this film is about how hard circumstances change the life of people, their thoughts, and relationships. Another reason for nursing career path choice was different fundraising campaigns I see online each day, on Facebook people from different countries asking for the help. These stories are hard to read, and because I am not able to help financially these people, I decided to support them in another way, to become a nurse and take care and support them in a professional way.

The first step besides reading and researching nursing programs was visiting medical center which helps kids with cancer and their parents. It was the hardest thing for me in my life, to see such sweet beautiful and smart children who from their birth are fighting a disease. They are just kids, who want to go to school, have friends and spend time in the park with their parents.

They are dreaming of becoming healthy and living like other kids, enjoying sports and spending time with their parents. For Christmas, they wish health to everyone surrounding them. When you receive your essay questions, you will notice that they are reasonably generic questions.

What the university is looking for, however, is how you turn that into something very specific. Instead, go into details and use specific examples from your personal experience that truly demonstrate the answers that you would like to provide.

Not only would this be a better way of answering the question, it also means your essay will be far more interesting. It will properly showcase your personality, which is something that is very important in nursing. Always remember that you are writing an essay and not the next great saga. Stick to the guidelines that are provided, as they have been given for a good reason one of them is to test you on how well you can follow instructions.

Additionally, you must be concrete in your answers. Do make sure you follow all the directions that have been provided to you. The school may request your essay in a certain format, for instance, which may mean you will need to get to know some different software packages before you hand it in. Although you will be studying towards becoming an FNP, the university will want to know that you already have an understanding of what that job requires.

You need to make sure that your responses represent the overall roles of FNPs. It is very likely that you will be asked how you overcame something very difficult in your life. Usually, what they are looking for is something that happened during your career, and not necessarily in your personal life.

Although you can use personal challenges, try to avoid true personal hardship, such as having a history of abuse, coming from a broken home or having financial difficulties in your personal life. If you struggle to find something that you would class as a true difficulty outside of your persona life, then pick something that was perhaps not entirely insurmountable but still challenging. So long as it is not trivial, you can use it as an example.
